Lena shot to global fame at 10 years old after winning the talent show Opportunity Knocks. This play by BAFTA and OLIVIER award-winning playwright Tim Whitnall turns the spotlight on how fame gives with one hand and takes with the other. It also celebrates the phenomenal talent that was Lena Zavaroni with some of her epic songs.

Lena had a brief run at The Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock in March 2022 playing to capacity crowds and nightly standing ovations. The electric audience reaction compelled us to bring this visceral piece to a bigger stage. Join our 5-strong cast and live band this summer in Edinburgh.
